LOVE IS STRANGE
To catch a thief, Susannah Quinn, a by-the-book deputy, and D. E. Hogan (just call me Hogan), an undercover FBI agent, pose as husband and wife. Can two mismatched, pretend lovers, caught in a comedy of errors courtship, catch a thief, recover stolen jewels – and resist the sweet siren call of desire?

My romantic comedy The Trouble With Love is being serialized by Romantic4Ever.com with a new chapter published each month. The story is up to Chapter 10 with all the chapters there so you can read from the beginning if you've missed this little gem before.

Happy reading!

Soundtrack

Don't forget to listen to the soundtrack I've created to enhance your reading experience. I'm updating the playlist this month with songs to reflect each chapter.

Look for the soundtrack on either of my blogs Sling Words and Joan Slings Words.

Open a tab at The Trouble With Love then open another tab at either of my blogs. Scroll to the bottom of the blog page where you'll see the Player. Click Play. Then go back to the tab where my novel is displayed and start reading. The music will play until you hit Stop or you close the tab.

I hope you'll love The Trouble With Love and tell your friends about it. Drop me a note if you like it. I can always be reached at joan at joanreeves dot com. In the subject box, put so your email will make it through the spam filters.

If you read Sling Words http://slingwords.blogspot.com my blog, then you're acquainted with the technology problems we've been having at Casa Reeves. My husband and I are sharing my computer so the April update is going to be short since I have little time to put together my usual comprehensive update. His new PC should be here in another week. I hope. This "sharing" has been rough on both of us. *LOL*

"If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside." Robert X. Cringely, InfoWorld

WHAT'S NEW ON THE WEBSITE?

GREETINGS: Note for April with a general overview of this truncated monthly update.

THE PLEASURE OF READING features a behind-the-scenes look at SIERRA RANSOM, by its author, the gracious and popular ALICE DUNCAN, writing as EMMA CRAIG for this book.

THE JOY OF WRITING feature from last month remains. Look for a new feature in May.

WORDPLAY: This is it, folks! Look for more in May.

THE ARCHIVES: An article usually appears on its originating page for two months. After that it's moved to The Archives except for this month when all previously published articles remain in place. They'll be moved in May when the new material is published.

WORK IN PROGRESS: 4 of 12 for 2009: just a short note.

PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED: Visit in May for something new.

WRITTEN WISDOM: April's theme is Computers since that blasted subject is number one on my black list at the moment. Look for quotations from dear old Anonymous, The Farmer's Almanac (Yes, they have something to say!), Robert X. Cringely, John F. Kennedy, Doug Larson, Ken Olson, and Thomas Watson.

By the way, if any of you out there have websites or blogs and would like to exchange links, just let me know. Send me an email at joan @ joanreeves.com with REAL LIVE PERSON - LINK EXCHANGE in the subject box.
